Direct Support Professional – Individual Supports

We are seeking compassionate and energetic Direct Support Professionals to provide one-on-one, individualized supports for individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities (IDD). In this role, you will work closely with clients in their homes to empower their personal growth, foster independence, and enhance quality of life.

Location: Northern and Central New Jersey

Pay: $18-22 per hour

Schedule: 30-40 hours per week

Core shifts: Monday – Friday (8:00 AM – 4:00 PM or 4:00 PM – 12:00 AM)

Additional opportunities: Weekend shifts may be available

Key Responsibilities

Personalized Care: Deliver individualized support tailored to each client's unique needs, assisting with daily living activities such as personal hygiene, meal preparation, and medication management.
Support Planning: Implement individualized support plans and accurately document client progress.
Collaboration: Work in partnership with families, healthcare professionals, and community resources to provide comprehensive and coordinated care.

Preferred Qualifications & Skills

Must be 21 years old or older to drive for the company
High school diploma or GED (Required)
Preferred: College coursework in the following (special education, social work, psychology, or related field)
Preferred: Experience in day habilitation, individual supports, education, or special education is a plus but not required; training will be provided
